About this property
Most listings open with the front of the house. We are opening with the back, because that is where the day goes. This is the second of the three homes Sunshine Endeavors runs in Cape Coral, Florida, and it exists for the group that comes inside only to eat.
The day here has a shape, according to the people who have watched a hundred groups do it: lunch in the kitchen, because it is the one room everybody passes through, and dinner at the big table, after which everyone drifts back outside without being asked.
What follows is the house in Stephanie and Joe’s own words.
This beautiful home sits on a salt-water canal and is a short three-minute boat ride from the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The rental includes a 2020 Sweetwater 2286 Tritoon, and the dock has a 10,000 lb boat lift on it.
The 2,900 sq ft waterfront property is fully furnished, with five bedrooms and four bathrooms, and will accommodate ten guests comfortably. It is newly remodeled, with all new appliances.
Enjoy biking, volleyball, basketball and games galore. Catch your own fresh sea fare — blue crab or snook — off your own private dock. Or just sit and relax in the screened-in private pool and spa.
We are located perfectly for the local beaches, and the Cape Coral Yacht Club beach is a short bike ride away.
We provide a starter kit: toilet paper, paper towels, soap, dishwashing detergent and laundry detergent — so the first day does not start with a shopping trip.
A great rental property for family reunions, multi-generational trips, families with children and group getaways.
What this place offers
Outside
The screened cage is the room you will use most: an in-ground pool with a spa attached to it, loungers on the paver deck, and enough shade under the lanai to get out of the sun without going indoors. Past the cage there is lawn, and past the lawn the seawall.
- Screened in-ground pool
- Attached spa
- Covered lanai
- Kayaks
In the kitchen
A full kitchen and a dining area big enough to sit a group down together, which is most of what a house rental is for. Mornings happen at the bar rather than at the table.
- Granite breakfast bar, eight stools
- Six at the table
- A bistro nook for two
- Full-size refrigerator
- Stainless range, smooth cooktop
- Over-range microwave
- Dishwasher
- Double sink under the window
- Single-serve pod coffee maker
Where everyone sleeps
Bedrooms are photographed individually so you can see them before you divide them up. Five of them, and four bathrooms for ten people, which is what makes the morning work.

Location
On a salt-water canal, three minutes out
The house is on a salt-water canal in Cape Coral, with its own seawall, a private dock and a 10,000 lb lift at the end of the lawn. The City counts more than 400 miles of canals here and they are not one network — which is why a dock is not the same thing as a way out, and why the owners’ three minutes to the open Gulf is the number worth knowing about this one.
Two different kinds of fact, and we would rather you knew which is which: the dock, the lift and the seawall we have seen ourselves in the photographs on this page. The three minutes is the owners’ own measurement, in the Tritoon that comes with the house. If you are bringing a boat of your own and bridge clearance decides it, ask us and we will get you the number for this canal.
Ask us about datesHouse rules
Check-in from 3:00 pm, check-out by 10:00 am. Up to 10 guests. Minimum stay 3 nights. The person booking must be 21 or over. No smoking. No pets. Events are allowed — tell us what you are planning and we will confirm the details. Children and infants are welcome. It is not wheelchair accessible. These are the rules the owners keep in their booking system, and the same ones the checkout applies. Anything not listed here — quiet hours, parking, the dock — ask us and we will tell you what actually applies. Stephanie and Joe run this house themselves, so anything above that needs a conversation is a conversation with them, not a form.
Cancellation policy
Cancel within 24 hours after booking and you get a full refund — 100% of what you paid. For a cancellation after that, ask us before you book and we will tell you exactly what applies to your dates rather than leave you to guess at it.
Questions people ask
How many people does the Cape Coral Adventure Package sleep?
Ten guests, comfortably. The house is 2,900 sq ft with five bedrooms and four bathrooms, all of it confirmed by the owners, and every bedroom is photographed individually on this page so you can divide them up before you book. If your group is over ten, tell us the number and we will tell you honestly whether it works or whether the Cape Coral Luxury Escape is the better fit — that one takes fifteen.
Does this house have a pool, a dock and Gulf access?
Yes to all three. There is a screened in-ground pool with a spa attached to it, and the property has its own canal frontage with a private dock and a 10,000 lb boat lift — those we have seen ourselves in the photographs on this page. Gulf access is the owners’ own statement: a salt-water canal and a three-minute boat ride to the open Gulf, and the rental includes their 2020 Sweetwater Tritoon, so the boat that run was measured in is the boat you will be in. One honest caveat if you are bringing your own: a pontoon clears fixed bridges a sailboat or a tall flybridge cannot, so if mast or tower height is your constraint, ask us before you book and we will get you the clearance for this specific canal rather than a general answer.
What is the nightly rate?
From $494 a night, with a three-night minimum and stays of up to thirty nights. The rate moves with the season and the dates you pick, so choose your nights in the booking card and it shows the real total, taxes and fees included, before anything is charged.
Why is it called the Adventure Package?
Because of what comes with it. The rental includes a 2020 Sweetwater Tritoon on a 10,000 lb lift at your own dock, three minutes from the open Gulf, and the owners list biking, volleyball, basketball and games galore on top of it — plus blue crab and snook you can catch off the dock without leaving the property. That is the package. It is also the Cape Coral house whose backyard is photographed more than its living room, which tells you the same thing in fewer words.
How is this different from the other Cape Coral house?
Size against what comes with it. The Cape Coral Luxury Escape is the bigger house — five bedrooms, twelve guests, a heated pool and a hot tub. The Cape Coral Adventure Package takes ten in five bedrooms, and what it has that the other does not is the boat: a 2020 Sweetwater Tritoon on your own lift, three minutes from the open Gulf. Both are on Gulf-access canals and both are owner-managed by Stephanie and Joe DeLisle, so you can ask one person which of the two fits your group.
